Minimum System Requirements
Hardware Requirements:
Pentium PC running Windows 2000, 2003 or XP Pro; minimum 512MB memory. 100MB free disk space. Recommend 65536 colour display.
Network Requirements
100 Mbps or greater Local Area Network. Not recommended for use on a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or wireless solutions.
Multi-user requires access to a shared database. This database must be located on a shared drive that has 'Full Control' permissions available to all installations of Multi-user on the network.
Operating System and Environment
Windows 2000, 2003 or XP. Administrative access to the PC is required for all installations and operation of Multi-user. Internet access. Internet Explorer v5 (and higher).
To increase performance, Actinic recommends the shared database is stored on the machine that is used most frequently for accessing Multi-user, in particular the machine that is used to upload the site.
Each installation of Multi-user requires a separate licence key. Contact Actinic Sales for additional keys. No more than ten installations of Actinic Multi-user are recommended for performance reasons.

Multi-user can be used with an optional bar code reader. Multi-user outputs letters read from the bar codes in uppercase only. The font used is ID Automation font at a size of 14pt. The bar code format is code 39.
