Position: Web Developer – West Midlands
Salary: £17,000 - £21,000 to start.
Globalgraphics Associates is an established, highly successful and innovative Internet Solutions Agency based in the Midlands area. Established for over 12 years, we have a loyal and established client base. Our client portfolio ranges from small start-up companies to large multinational brands.
Due to the expansion of our client base and current project work, we are now seeking to recruit a Web Developer to join our leading development team. Ideally a recent graduate, with 1-2 years of commercial experience you will have the ability to produce modify/maintain web applications and content management systems using a variety of technologies.
The successful candidate will have essential knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- W3C Standards
- Cross Browser Compatibility
It is also desirable to have a working knowledge of the following:
- Javascript
- jQuery
- LAMP
- ASP
- Photoshop/Fireworks
We would also require that the ideal candidate understands best practice for website coding, the importance of content/code separation and search engine optimisation. A good understanding of content management systems including Magento, Wordpress & ExpressionEngine would also be highly advantageous.
You will be based at our Kenilworth office, which is a 30-35 minute drive from Birmingham, with the Towns of Leamington, Coventry and Warwick within a 15-minute drive.
